About

Our Story

Theta Chi's Beta Xi chapter was installed in 1942 making it one of the oldest fraternities on campus! Theta Chi has actively attracted the best young men across America for over a century. These young men include American film director, producer, and writer Steven Spielberg (Zeta Epsilon), Television anchor, Mike Greenberg (Delta Iota), Astronaut Daniel T. Berry (Lambda), who boarded three space shuttle missions. Beta Xi pushes its members to pursue their goals, strive for greatness, and connect with the close-knit brotherhood that this chapter holds. Our chapter has been granted three Howard R. Alter Chapter Excellence awards for outstanding chapter achievements. Beta Xi has a diverse group of brothers involved in things like Phi Beta Kappa, the US Marine Corp, prestigious graduate schools, and the Student Government (including three presidents in the last decade!). Check out a few buildings on campus, and they may be named after a few Theta Chi Beta Xi Alumni! If you are interested in rushing this year, and becoming a part of this incredibly close group of brothers, please contact our rush chairman:
